Wasson Way Trail in Cincinnati Ohio

We are so thankful for the dedicated volunteers and public officials who have made Wasson Way a reality! It’s a great option to be active for a variety of people from various communities.
We’re starting to see trail-oriented businesses pop up through this area, and expect over the years to see even more. Busken Bakery opened a back window right on the trail to catch people as they’re walking by. Local residents, as well as out of town people who are staying in hotels near Rookwood are walking and enjoying the area.
Wasson Way is such a nice addition to this east-central section of Cincinnati. It’s already helping to get more people to walk, shop, and maybe even to commute to work. We are very excited about Phase 4 and 5 which creates another 1.25-miles into Ault Park and east to Old Red Bank Road in Fairfax. This will be a very peaceful section through the woods. When complete, the trail will be just over 6 miles. It will join a 34-mile trail loop that will connect to the Little Miami Scenic Trail, the Ohio River Trail and others trails.
The trail will have a positive impact on so many neighborhoods and is connecting communities, people, and businesses! For our real estate business, we are seeing increasing values for homes in close proximity to the trail.
