J.Webb, Buyer Specialist, says that “a well-written cover letter with an offer can make a difference if the price and terms are similar to another offer. This holds true especially if the Seller is very attached to their home and really likes their neighbors.”
Sarah Sally, Buyer Specialist, comments that “she has encouraged Buyers to write a cover letter for their offer, but feels that in most cases it comes down to price and other favorable details in the offer.”
