First Open Houses This Weekend
In-person Open Houses are now being permitted in Ohio. If we have a property that we feel would benefit from an Open House and the Seller would like to have one, we are now able to do that by safely conducting the Open House following CDC guidelines. The Finn Team will be having two homes open this weekend and will report back next week on how that went. We are seeing a surge of new listings and showings as businesses have started to open back up.
There has been an extremely high amount of activity in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area (especially in the price range under $300,000). The Finn Team utilizes Coming Soon marketing in order to make the public aware of homes before they hit the market. By doing this, we have had up to 45 showings scheduled for some homes first day on market. Talk about “unprecedented”! The open houses we are having this weekend will offer Buyers a chance to have time blocked off to leisurely come through the homes, even if they are not to the point where they are working with an agent.
This chart shows the blue line as tracking the number of listings going on the market each week. The red line indicates the number of showings scheduled. We just had the best showing week for the last 12 months!
